Soft-Ride Testimonials

More From our customers ...

Dear Soft-Ride,

I have a mare that I love more than life itself. Her name is Sophie and I spent five years looking for the right horse. I found her and we were in the throws of enjoying life when the big freeze came
suddenly a few weeks ago. Little chards of frozen mud were all round - and when she became slightly lame, we were hearing lots of our friends say the same thing - "bruising" from the sharp mud" - especially in drafts (Sophie is an appy/draft cross) because of the bigger hoof surface. OK - just wait it out. Only thing was - everybody else got better, but Sophie did not.

We called our trusted barefoot trimmer (Sherri at Better Be Barefoot) and she took a look and our worst fears were realized - she was having signs of laminitis. But why? Enter our vet, Jason Wyatt - who proclaimed her to be suffering from insulin resistance and the associated winter laminitis. Lifestyle changes would need to be made - but while making them, Sherri recommended the Soft Ride Boots. She came armed with a pair - and tried them on Sophie.

Now about two weeks into this process, the heat is gone from Sophie's feet. She is moving well. HShe is on supplements to keep her balanced and stable. But most importantly, she is loving her Soft-Ride boots! She will let you take them off to clean them - but she holds her foot up as if to say "don't take them too far!" and she stands like a statue while you replace them.

It is too early to say what lies ahead for Sophie. We are hopeful she will make a full recovery and that we can prevent further bouts. But one thing is for certain. Soft-Ride boots will be used for trailering and general support from now on! Of all the doo-dads, gadgets, supplements, training tools, tack, and more, this is by far the best value of anything I ever contemplated for my horse.

We will keep you posted on her progress. I just know that someone who makes such a wonderfully humane product will want to keep tabs on the horses whose lives they touch. Thank you again!

Hi Debbie,

Just wanted to update you on Fallow's progress since getting my soft ride boots a couple of days before Christmas. As you know Fallow has been suffering from chronic laminitis for four years
now. For the past two years she has been on bute daily for pain pretty much the whole time and although she had no rotation for the first three years this summers x-rays showed 13 percent on the left front and 5 percent on the right.

When the boots arrived we had a hard frost on the gound and she was very 'ouchy' but as soon as we put the boots on and she got the feel of them and the immediate comfort they brought to her poor feet, she dragged my husband off up our lane way bucking and squealing and being very silly and we both stood transfixed, mewith tears in my eyes just to see her so happy and so obviously pain free again.

Its now been about three weeks and we have been putting the boots on at 7.30am breakfast feed and leaving them on until 10pm night check. I know that my horse is very smart, but as soon as my husband goes in with the boots every morning she immediately picks up her left foot to get her boots put on and he is quite convinced that she is a bit peeved when he asks her to lift her feet to remove the boots at night check. So we know that she must feel very comfortable wearing them and she has had no rubbing or chafing so far and has not tried to pull them off as she has done with all others I have tried.

She is walking without stiffness and although still obviously a bit lame mainly due to the two large abscesses which keep coming back. The best news of all is that I felt she looked good enough to go for a little ride on Christmas morning which was the best present I could have asked for and the first time I have been able to saddle up for two years.

My only wish is that I had known about your boots a long time ago as I am sure it would have prevented the deterioration of Fallows feet to the point they are at now, but hopefully with their help we are on the road to recovery and I will never be without Soft Ride boots again.
Thank you so much.

Could you please send me a few more brochures about Soft Ride as I have had a lot of my friends asking about them.

Many thanks for all your prompt attention

Best wishes,

Hello Soft-Ride,

I want to take a few moments to tell you that your boots are largely responsible for my horse not only being alive but enjoying her life today.  Bella is a 25 retired TB mare who I rescued 12 years ago from horroble neglect, starvation, and abuse. I promised her that she would never again suffer and that I would take care of her for the rest of her life.

But 2 years ago, Bella developed severe white-line disease, sole bruising, and a host of other problems in her feet that were made worse by the fact that she has severe hock arthritis which causes her to load her front feet.  The diseased parts of her feet needed to be cut back drastically, which would have meant confining her to a stall for months.

I wasn't going to do that, but leaving her in her pasture would have caused suffering since our rainy Northwest winters were the worst possible environment for healing her feet.  I had made the heart-wrenching decision to let Bella go in the fall of 2008 before the rainy weather set in, when Carrie the farm manager heard about your boots and suggested we try them as a last-ditch effort.

Well, to say these boots are a miracle is not an exaggeration.  The instant we put them on, Bella walked off sound.  I'll never forget watching her move around the pasture and seeing the look on her face that said, "Wow, I don't hurt anymore!"  She sailed through last winter in fine shape wearing her boots and I ordered a new set for this winter.

A couple weeks ago, the farrier went out to trim her and he was so astounded that he called Carrie over to look at Bella's feet.  He said that In 35 years of shoeing he had never seen such beautiful feet.  Bella's hoof walls had doubled in thickness and were healthy and pliable.  Her soles and angles were textbook perfect.

The shoer couldn't believe it, especially since he knew what Bella's feet had looked like before. She has always been on a hoof supplement, but that did not prevent the problems which almost led to her death.  The only explanation we can think of is that these boots are providing an environment which keeps moisture out and cushions her feet so that she can stand and move comfortably.  In fact, she moves so well that we haven't even needed to give her Bute for the arthritis.

In May, Bella will turn 26 and I don't know how much longer I will have her, but what I do know is that your boots have given my horse 2+ years of quality life that she would not otherwise have had.

Thank you for your wonderful product.  It must feel great to know that you are responsible for helping so many horses live a better life.

Best,
Yaffa Chudnow

Dear Soft-Ride,
I am a British farrier and I came across your boots at the Hoof Care Summit in Cincinnati earlier
this year. I recently spoke at Cornell Farrier Conference and returned with a pair of your boots for one of my clients for her acutely lame mare.

This horse could barely walk out of her stall for me to trim her feet, she is very flat footed, sub clinically laminitic, abcesses regulary and I have tried many options to keep her pasture sound. I trimmed one front foot and put the boot on, went to pick up the other front foot which she picked up immediately for me and was comfortably weight bearing.

After trimming the other front foot and placing your boot on that foot there was an immediate improvement in her gait. The owner came through an hour or so later to tell me she had never seen her mare so comfortable and was almost in tears of happiness.

I went to see her mare about 2 1/2 hours after applying the soft rides and was gob-smacked. In 21 years of shoeing horses I have never seen such a dramatic improvement in a horses soundness after utilsing different shoeing/trimming protocols. You have a great product.

Kind Regards,
Mark Aikens

I want to tell you how much my horse and I  rely on your boots.  My then 24 year old mare Honey had foundered and  her bone had dropped severely. Both her vet and her farrier came to her aid.  Her shoe was pulled; her foot was trimmed severely to take  pressure off her bone; new shoes were out of the question, and recovery was  going to take a long, long time.

My friends and I made a makeshift boot so she could stand, but she couldn't walk around well on it because it didn't give  enough support.  Without your boots, she would have to have been stall  bound for a prolonged time and that would have made her arthritis become much worse.  It would have become a question of quality of life for her, and I  really don't know that she would have made it.  That day when I called you,  you were wonderful to me.  Even as upset as I was, I  could tell how  much the horses were the priority for you.

I had tried other boots  before she foundered, and they hadn't worked well because they either chipped  her feet further or fell off and left her helpless, so when I called you I  wasn't sure if your boots would work.  I now know that your boots allow her  to walk comfortably; they don't chip her feet and they stay on!!!  Your  boots saved her, Debbie.

I would recommend your Soft-Ride boots and your  company's service to anyone!  God bless you and I thank you over and over  for my horse's successful recovery.  Neither the vet nor the farrier know  how she pulled through.  I know that your boots, carrots, and love had  a lot to do with it.  She has since used your boots when she's lost a shoe,  and I am just as satisfied with their performance.  I intend to have a pair  on hand for as long as I am blessed with Honey.

I have a beloved retired American Saddlebred show horse named Moses. He unfortunately was very badly injured by a distracted Farrier on April 17, 2009. The Farrier actually cut into the bottom of his sole leaving a nickel sized opening. The tissue below began being pushed out called prolapsed dermis. It was VERY painful. We tried (another Farrier!!) putting a shoe on him that was twisted and beveled to get him up off the ground but the hole was so close to the hoof wall that the nail put pressure on the wound.

Eventually we were able to keep the tissue contained but swelling inside the hoof caused his hoof to basically "blow out" the sides. His veterinarian consulted with several specials all over the US. We took him to UGA and they decided to do a very aggressive debridement that took off a lot of his sole and all of his walls. They gave me instructions to order Soft Ride boots for Moses and for him to wear one on his bad foot all of the time. That has been (5) months ago. Moses has grown out a great start to a healthy hoof. We are hoping to have a shoe on him in March. I am CERTAIN that with out the boots Moses would have had to be put down.

Moses is in the pasture all of the time with his boot (he does come in when it is raining to keep his bad foot dry). He canters up and down the fence line and bucks and rears just for the fun of it! He is happy, goofy, pain free and the horse love of my life. I thank you from the bottom of my heart to the top of Moses' perfectly set Saddlebred head for your AMAZING product! Keep up the good work!

With the warmest regards,

It has been awhile, hope all is well!  I totally love your boots and own a pair for all 3 of my horses.  Sizes 5,6 & 7.  My size 7 girl is a cushings quarter pony and has been using your boots since early 2006. They have helped us through every fall and winter and I can't imagine living without them.  My farrier and vet have become true believers and have recommended the boots to many cushings owners. We do wear them alot almost 24/7 during our season and they have gotten alot of use.   I use the larger boots for trailering and won't go anywhere without them.  One of my mares would always end up sore after a trailer ride, once I started using her boots for trailering we have had no problems. I'm going to go on line to place my order for Annie's new boots and pads.   Thank you so much for this wonderful product and keeping everyone at my barn happy, healthy and COMFORTABLE.

Aloha Debbie,
I just wanted to thank you from my heart for the Soft Ride boots. They saved my Mare and is the best thing since sliced bread. I thought I was going to have to put her down but thank to you and Soft Ride.

Dear Debbie,
I don't know how to thank Soft Ride for the difference the boots have made in our foster horse (United States Equine Rescue League) Dove, the 26 year old VERY lame quarter horse. This is amazing!

 Thank you!

Hi, Deb.

I need to order a pair of size 4 boots. My 24 year old gelding continues to do very well in your boots. In fact, we quit putting shoes on his front feet almost two years ago and his feet look the best they have in years. My farrier started out skeptical, saying "I don't know". Now, he tells other clients about your boots.

My horse is comfortable and goes out to pasture with his buddies half his age every day. I even ride him once in a while for a very short ride, just because he wants to go! I am convinced he is still with us today because of your boots. They are truly a lifesaver.

Debbie,

After 2 surgeries, 8 long months of daily bandage changing and monthly vet and farrier appointments, John Boy was officially released from vet care today!!!!! X-rays showed that his sole has almost doubled in growth/thickness on both feet. There is no infection in the foot at all. Virginia said, I like the distance between his coffin bone and hoof wall; it looks good. She also said both of his feet look almost normal. Eric left shaking his head saying, I'm really surprised; I'm shocked.

With Dr. Stevens, Dr. DeChant, Eric Farmer, Lisa Taylor, Lorraine and myself along with his Soft-Ride Boots, we as a team worked with John Boy to beat the odds and his foot is free of infection, it is healed, it is growing healthy hoof and sole and he is pasture sound. Lorraine and I have been truly
blessed to still have John because no horse could ever take the place of The Boy. His spirit to fight is limitless, just talk to those who worked on him.

John had been cooped up in his stall for too many days which is not good for him nor those handling him. So a pair of his old boots were found and materials for wrapping his foot were gathered to prepare our son to go out to play in the snow. John finally made his way out of the stall. He snorted and pawed and snorted and pawed,... Finally he took off, oh what a sight....

Thank You,

Kim Chewning-McCarthy

Debbie,

The boots arrived this morning!!!!  Again thank you for your help and talking with me yesterday.

Your desire to help the equine owner is very apparent with your customer service, which is a breath of fresh air. I will be in touch.

Dear Soft-Ride manufacturer,

I want to thank you so much for sending these boots so quickly. I also want to thank you for sending the correct size orthotic when I accidentally ordered the wrong size (but the right size boots).

My horse was dead lame in both front feet and we're treating her as laminitic even though we're really not sure what the problem is. Tests are in process, xrays look fine. But she was dead lame on both front and positive to hoof testers. Once we put on the soft-ride boots, she took a hesitant step, lifted her feet up real high, then strode off in her normal stride like a sound horse. Today she was doing sound walking laps around her paddock almost like she was telling us, hey I feel so much better! This is a horse who won't tolerate anything on her legs, but I think she knows the boots have given her instant relief. Today, she was trotting in her paddock and even bucked and squealed! I'm so thrilled to see her as her old self and not in pain. This is an amazing product, and I'm so thrilled my vet recommended it!

Thanks again for doing more than any amount of bute could do for my mare!

Sincerely,

Kris Garland

I purchased two pairs of your Soft Boots two months ago. I bought them because I was preparing to haul my barrel mare half-way across the country and I wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. Since I have purchased the boots I can tell a notable difference in the soles of my mares feet. They are much healthier from the increased circulation the soft boots stimulate.

I barrel race my mare as well as do her farrier work myself and I can honestly say these boots are well worth the money. My mare seems very comfortable in these boots and since purchasing them we have won practically every race we've ran!

We even ran the fast time of the entire season in one pen and ran only a few 100th's of a second off the Arena record in another. We qualified for the Finals in the 1D at the Dixie Nationals...that is out of 420 head! ...All since wearing Soft Boots!

I have already recommended Soft Boots to fellow competitors....as a matter of fact a "Rebecca Ryan" will likely be contacting you about ordering some for herself.

Thank you for creating such a fabulous product!

Hi Debbie,

soft-ride boots -on blossom
Thank you very much for your generosity in shipping the boots right away.  You have no idea how much this helps, it is truly life-savor.

I've attached a photo of Blossom with her soft ride boot and cast from last summer/fall and will send you a few more recent photos when I get a chance.  She now wears Soft - Ride boots on both front feet.

Blossom is scheduled to have more radiographs taken tomorrow.  We are hopeful that everything will be ok.  She is wearing her new boots today! Thank you so much again.

Sincerely
Renee

Dear Soft-ride Rep,
I recieved a pair of your shoes at the expo 2008 AAEP meeting in CA, unfortunately I do not recall the name of the gifter. I was on my way to Israel and they were given to me to try. Since then I believe that this single pair of shoes we have at the Hebrew University Veterinary School has saved several horses from getting either CLLL or simply lessened the pain and severity for acute laminitic horses. I thank you very much for the present.
I wonder if I can order several pairs so we will not have to keep stealing it from one user to the other.

Thank you so much in advance,

Hi Debbie, thank you for calling last night. It's refreshing to work with a company that believes in customer service. I'll be watching for the boots!

Hi Debbie,
I received the boots last week, but it has been raining almost every day and didn't get a chance to have my foundered mare try the boots outside. The size 8's were difficult to put on like you had said, but the size 7's are almost too big. She took to them like a duck in water, but will need to wait for the rain to stop so I can try her outside with them. I will probably return the 8's, and I am so thankful you allowed me to try both sizes.

Thank you for making my life less complicated having designed these shoes. They are blue ribbon quality!

Sincerely,
Mary Grimm

Debbie,  Thank you for all the help and being so quick!!
Boots and pads arrived before I had a chance to even wonder when they would come. Awesome!!

It's me again, Lady Ice (my foundered mare) has been wearing these boots since December, and they have saved her life.  My vet says he wishes he had bought stock in your company!  She can't walk or be comfortable without these boots.

Thanks again Debbie.

Hello Debbie,

I am so impressed!!!  I received the boots on Saturday.  Thank you so much.  My horse seems to be stabilizing due to founder but its too early to tell for sure.  He has another 3 weeks to ago, but these boots are making him so much more comfortable, where he doesn’t hesitate to walk out of his stall for me to groom him.

Again thank you for your prompt and astute service.

Afternoon,

During early February 2008, my Arabian Gelding (Talko) began with mild laminitis, however, by late March 08, it became chronic.  Our farrier informed me that he had some "new" boots he wanted to try on Talko.  He had ordered them on recommendation from a friend.  As you can imagine, prior to wearing the boots, Talko could barely walk.

Once he was sporting the boots, it was apparent he was at least a little more comfortable.  After much pain, medications and hoof abscesses and nearly 15 months, he is doing remarkably well.

And tho' I give credit to our vet, farrier & myself, I have stated many times that without the Soft-Ride Boots, Talko would not have survived.

After witnessing his pain and his gradual comfort, & his remarkable progress, I would recommend this product as a life-saving measure as well as the fact that they are very durable.  These boots saved his life.

Within the last month or so, I have had the pleasure of witnessing him trotting in his paddock.  Now retired as an English Pleasure Champion, he and I can enjoy our retirement together.  I thank you so much as well as our farrier for introducing your product.

So Sincerely,
Dee & Talko

Hello Debbie,

Thank you for being so kind in helping us to have Winnie have a good fit in her boots. The 6's were way too big, so she has been wearing the 7's. Winnie is walking, even cantering, very well. And the inside backs of the boots look fine. We truly appreciate your help & generosity in caring for our sweet Winnie.

Five years ago we helped bring her into the world & she means a great deal to us. Winnie's Mustang momma was gravely ill when she was carrying Winnie. Our vet tried to save them both...which he did.... but massive amounts of very potent antibiotics were given to the mare, which we much later found out, resulted in Winnie being born with a 'clean' hindgut, which resulted in her foundering at age two.

It was very bad for her & 2 vets wanted to put her down. But she has 'spunk for life'. She wants to live. Mike & I have learned how to bring her through her devastating founder. (Mike now helps others whose horses have foundered.)

We are happy to say that Winnie is only improving now. Your boots are the best, most well-made boots on the market today. They perfectly fit the bill for what is needed in a boot for a foundered horse.

      Our respect & gratitude,
       Patricia & Mike Dickmeyer

Hello,

We bought your boots after my horse with navicular suffered an abscess.  He is doing very well in them.  We’ve been alternating barefoot and boots, and I was blown away this past weekend after taking off his boots with how healthy the soles & frog of his feet look.

Thanks,
Lori

My horse loves the Soft Ride boots. My friends tease me calling them his "Herman Munster shoes!" Call them whatever you like, I love them and know they are helping him.

Thanks for a wonderful product!

Sandy Arave

I am cleaning out files and wanted you know the horse in question grew all new hooves complete with concave soles which he had not had in years as some one had road foundered him.

This product is superior to anything I have seen. With your boots he was walking and trotting within twelve hours after being totally crippled!!

Sincerely,
Sandi

After five years of very frustrating hoof problems, from quarter cracks to severe laminitis, I finally decided to pull the shoes on my Paint gelding, and put him in the Soft Ride boots.  He walked off sound, and has been a relatively happy boy ever since.

He was just trimmed again last week, and in the solid brick aisle, with bare feet, he had that typical "foundered" tip-toed walk.  It just made me want to cry.  I put his boots back on, and he walked off sound again.

We're not out of the woods yet.  It's going to be an uphill battle.  But I'm determined to give him a full year in the boots to give him time to grow a new hoof.  I understand the Soft Ride boot is not intended for riding, but I mount that boy every day in the Soft Ride boots, and walk/trot him for about an hour in a soft footing arena.  The boots are holding up well (much better than I anticipated) and keep his feet dry, even in the rainy winter weather we've had.

For anyone considering an alternative to shoes, I highly recommend the Soft Ride boots over any other I've tried.

Sincerely,
Sandi

My daughter's QH sported your Soft Rides at the All American Quarter Horse Congress this year. I can't tell you how many people stopped to inquire about them and who thought that they are a wonderful idea; especially for at shows with a great deal of walking on concrete over a long period of time. After battling a quarter crack, my daughter researched online to find something that she thought would cushion his foot much like a tennis shoe. She found your website and we inquired with our farrier, who uses them for one of his horses and recommended them highly! He has worn them for almost a year now. We are deligent about putting them on walking to and from the arenas at the shows, so far he hasn't recracked or gotten sore from all the concussion of traveling and walking on the hard surfaces. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR GREAT PRODUCT! We couldn't recommend them enough!

Dear Soft-ride:

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you for your product!!!

Last year, one of my beautiful horses experienced severe laminitis.  One of the vets that looked at her thought we should give it a month – if things did not improve, then have her put down.

I can never thank you enough for your incredible customer service.  You treated us like you were the owner of the horse.  There was as much quality in your customer service as there is  in your product.

I firmly believe Soft-ride was a huge part of my horses’ recovery.  Today she roams all over.  This summer, she trotted and cantored for the first time in over a year.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!!

Soft-Ride Equine BootsHi , this is Debbie from Calif.
Kacy is very very happy with her new feet. They do fit snug, there is no rubbing on the bulbs at all. I wish I had a video of her walking to my tie rack from the corral with out the boots, to the transition of her walking after about 10 minutes with the boots. It would have made the best advertisement.

Also, and you know I want to see all good stuff, but, I am thinking I am seeing her walking and trotting not so stabbing with her hind legs.

A very thankful owner;

Deb

Chantilly

WOW, These new boots are great! The minute I put them on Chantilly she nickered and stepped right out. She hasn't done that for a long time. Now she is trying to sneak out to the pasture, and she hasn't walked that far on her own in months. The new beveled sole is the greatest. Thanks for helping my girl!

Soft-Ride Equine Comfort Boots Help in the Treatment of Laminitis

Bubba
Bubba
is a Percheron/pony cross who, six weeks before this photo was taken, was lying down, plagued by bedsores — unable to walk due to chronic laminitis. Wearing Soft-Ride Equine Comfort Boots, he can now walk a few steps to the beach, where standing and swimming in the cold salt water are helping to speed his recovery.

CometaCometa is a 15-year-old Paso Fino mare. She is insulin resistant and this isher second bout with laminitis in the last three years. Your boots have been wonderful. The first time she wore them outside she had a good roll in the dirt. Each day she was more active. She kicks up her heels and throws in a buck or two for good measure.

One evening when my husband went out to feed her she was missing a boot. He spent some time looking for it and finally found it ten feet on the other side of the fence! My guess is it sailed over the fence as the result of a very exuberant "I feel so good" buck. She's back in shoes now with frog support and pads. We'll be back on the trails soon. We all want to thank you

and Soft-Ride boots.

Sammy, my 19 year-old Cushing/Insulin Resistant Arabian mare, severely foundered in December and was unable to walk out of her stall without protection on her "soles". Thankfully, Dr. Mike Van Noy of Auburn Laboratories highly recommended your boots due to their thick, "gel-like" insole. Sammy had instant relief when I put the boots on her for the first time. Now when I approach her with the boots, she eagerly stands with her foot up waiting for me to put them on her feet. On a good day, she trots with them on. My vet and farrier were so impressed with the results that they are recommending your boots to other clients. Thanks for a great product!

My vet insisted that I purchase soft-ride boots.  These boots were the last ditch effort to comfort my horse as pain meds were not really helping.  I can say that they are AMAZING!!!!  My horse went from non-weight bearing to almost 80% weight bearing within 24 hours.

It is now a month later, and I feel like I have a miracle horse.  He is completely sound and looking at him playing in the field you would never know there is anything wrong with him.  He is so happy with his boots, that he actually gets mad and nips at me when I try to take them off to clean his feet.

He knows these boots are what have made the pain go away.  I can't thank you enough for having a wonderful product!!!

Thanks Soft-Ride!!!

Avatara
Avatara is a 12-year-old Lipizzan mare. You can see the damage to her feet from laminitis. Even though her hoof walls are mostly missing and she's simply walking on her soles, your boots protect her healing feet. Your nice soft inserts make her so comfortable she's actually trying to walk out of her stall at Virginia Tech's veterinary hospital every time I open the door!
You all make a terrific product—thanks!

I have definitely noticed a huge difference with the boots compared to life w/o them. The fact he can go out with his friends has made a big difference for him as well. With the boots he is free to roam and has been very slowly improving. It is so hard to see them in such pain and knowing things are out there to offer comfort is wonderful. I've recommended these to 3 people and the farrier was here when we put them on so he'll no doubt spread the word too! It was instant relief with Levi and we all stood in amazement - literally. From shift weight every 20 seconds to standing still was the best gift we could have given him. Thanks for everything and best wishes & many thanks.

Mare and 4 month old fillyOh My Gosh! Thank You So Much!! I must tell you that when my farrier(who by the way is now a huge fan of your boots) trimmed her feet last week he told me that there is no doubt in his mind that these boots saved that mares life. And for that...Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! She has so much to live for as you can see. This is my mare with her then 4 month old filly enjoying a beautiful day in the meadow. If you look closely you will see....the mare is wearing her Soft-Ride boots!

Dear Soft-Ride:
I received the boots and the inserts on Friday and they were on my mare on Saturday. She just loves them. The boots fit great and are staying in place - not twisting and coming off. She seems to be very comfortable in the turquoise inserts, so that is what we are staying with. The first time I turned her out with them, she took off like a lightning bolt and then spun around to look at me as if saying "thanks - the boots finally feel great!".

So, thanks again. I really appreciate the time you spent with me and for helping me out. There is a reason why companies like yours are successful - it all comes down to customer service and you have got that nailed.

Dear Soft-Ride,
Thank you! I am overwhelmed at your prompt response and generosity. I want you to know that my vet and farrier love your Soft Ride "Booties" and think that they are a great product. With the help of Soft Ride boots, my foundered horse who has worn them 24/7 is now walking great and is able to comfortably turn to the right and left. My vet is amazed at his progress as his coffin bone was greatly rotated and feels that he will eventually be able to go on trail rides!! Your product is easy to put on and take off and have access to his hooves.

Respectfully and gratefully,

—Mary

Flame
I really felt it was important for me to find the time to thank you as without your wonderful hoof boots I am quite certain my beloved, Flame, companion of 28 years would no longer be in the world of the living..Your hoof boots keep him comfortable and walking, even when his coffin bone was sunk to within 1mm of perforating his sole. He's up to 10mm in each foot now, and I have no doubt he will be wearing your boots the remainder of his life..Thank You So Much for designing such a God's send.

—Sincerely, Linne

Dear Soft-Ride,
I just wanted to take a moment and share with you how wonderful I think your soft ride boots are.  I have a 7yr old Paso Fino Gelding who 11 months ago had a bad case of white line and laminitus at the same time.  My vet and farrier worked together and we finally got him over the worst of it.  Unfortunately we had to deal with the last 1/4 inch of damaged hoof wall that could not hold a shoe nail worth a darn.  I did the glue on shoes which bought me almost 3 weeks of hoof wall growth - but he was still walking on his soles when they fell off.  My vetrifarrian (he was a farrier before becoming a vet) Dr. Ben Nabors, suggested your product.  And what a GREAT suggestion it was.  Storm of Angels is now comfortably living in a size 6 soft ride boot.  He has just enough support on the hoof wall edges and your boot keeps a very unstable foot comfortable enough for him to move around without pain. This is a god send of a product.

The $175.00 was well worth it.  Storm can now go in and out when ever he wants and is much more comfortable that being barefoot or walking on his soles.

Thank you for selling such a superior boot - he has tried to get them off but unlike the easy boot - he CAN'T and therefore the feet stay dry and supported all through the day and night.  They work, they stay on and they clean up really easily.

I'll be recommending them to anyone that asks how to keep a foundered horse comfortable.
