A Soft-Ride Standard-Density orthotic insert is included with the purchase of every Soft-Ride Equine Comfort Boot. This gel-like cushion comforts and protects the hoof, making Soft-Ride boots truly unique.

To provide comfort for unique conditions, Soft-Ride interchangeable orthotic inserts are available in 4 specialty densities plus a new dual-density insert. The ability to change inserts to alter the density level allows you to fine-tune the boot for therapeutic needs that change as the horse's condition changes.

Soft-Ride’s shock-dissipating inserts:

• Mold quickly to the bottom of the hoof, creating a custom fit
• Support the frog to assist with blood circulation
• Aid in reduction of vibration transfer to the skeleton
• Care for with simple washing; rinse with hose
• Choose from standard or specialty replacement inserts
• Trim to accommodate wounds, drains, casts, etc. using a
hoof knife or rotary too

Cleaning orthotic inserts is easy

• Remove orthotic from the boot.
• Wash with soap and water.
• Rinse well with hose.
• Thoroughly air dry before replacing orthotic in boot.

	TURQUOISE The standard (turquoise) gel is the longest lasting Soft-Ride gel orthotic even when worn twenty/four seven. The standard orthotics are designed for all around use, hauling, standing in stables, on hard surfaces etc. Pair included with every Boot Pair Order
	PURPLE Softest gel used for horses that have stinging feet after a hard workout, the most conformable gel. Sold Separately as pair
	ORANGE Medium gel use for larger/heavier horses requiring extra hoof comfort and conformability over the standard turquoise orthotics. Sold Separately as pair
	PURPLE/TURQUOISE Ideal for horses going through laminitic episodes. Provides soft cushioning from the apex of the frog to the toe. The softer purple gel comfortably supports the P-3 in the gel orthotic, while the firmer turquoise gel located behind the apex of the frog to the heel offers additional support for the palmar (bars & heel) area of the hoof. The dual density orthotic enables practitioner to increase the angulation of the hoof, due to the toe being able to sink further into the softer gel. Sold Separately as pair
	ORANGE/TURQUOISE Provides medium cushioning from the apex of the frog to the toe. The softer orange gel allows the P-3 to be supported in the gel orthotic while the firmer turquoise gel located behind the apex of the frog to the heel offers additional support for the palmar area (bars & heel) of the hoof. This dual density orthotic is for larger heavier breeds having laminitic episodes or the practitioner wanting to increase the angulation of the hoof to relieve additional tendon tension. 	ORANGE/YELLOW The soft heel reverse orthotic is designed to allow the practitioner to place the hoof in a more neutral position, while still allowing good support for the sole as well as the hoof wall. Provides medium cushioning from the apex of the frog to the toe. The orange medium gel still allows good conformation to the sole. The softer yellow gel located behind the apex of the frog to the heel offers support. The soft raised frog support cushions the inside of the collateral groove yet allows the heel area of the hoof to sink lower into the supportive gel, yet positioning the hoof more level to the ground.
